Section 01

Overview

GATSBY is a Sanlorenzo SL96 Asymmetric, delivered in 2021 from Sanlorenzo's Ameglia yard in La Spezia, Italy. The SL96A retains only the starboard side deck, routing the port passageway up and over the superstructure to recover approximately 10 m² of main-deck volume. The asymmetric concept originated with Chris Bangle; exterior and layout design are by Bernardo Zuccon of Zuccon International Project; naval architecture is Sanlorenzo in-house. The model won Best Layout (14-30 m) at the 2020 World Yachts Trophies.

GATSBY's factory Laura Sessa Romboli interior was replaced during commissioning with a custom package by Marty Lowe Design Inc. (Fort Lauderdale, FL). She is US-flagged and duty-paid, dockside at Pier A, 300 Alton Road, Miami Beach, and operated under a full-time captain and crew of five.
