Overview

M/Y CRASH is a 2021 Pershing 8X, the ninth of thirty hulls built by Pershing S.p.A. (Ferretti Group) in Mondolfo, Italy. She was designed by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design over Ferretti Group naval architecture, finished in metallic silver over a carbon-fibre and GRP composite, with teak-laid side decks, foredeck, cockpit, and bridge deck.

Three full staterooms accommodate seven guests — a full-beam master aft, a forward VIP, and a starboard twin with overhead Pullman — together with a separate media room convertible as a fourth cabin. Three ensuite guest heads. The main-deck salon, finished in leather and off-white wood, opens through a sliding aft door directly to the cockpit, with the helm station forward at the center. Electric curtains and blinds throughout. An Apple-tablet Crestron system controls audio-visual, lighting, climate, and shades from the salon, master, media room, and cockpit.

A two-cabin crew quarter sits aft with independent access from the salon and the cockpit, and a full Miele galley sits forward of the crew cabins. On deck, a forepeak sunpad, a cockpit dining table with twin electric pedestals, an integrated transom garage with launching platform, and an open sportbridge with teak deck and exterior dining provide additional living space.

Twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels driving TOP SYSTEM surface drives deliver a top speed of 45 knots, a 38-knot cruise, and 320 nautical miles of range. The main engines have logged 1,000 hours, with the 1,000-hour service completed. Stabilization is by two Seakeeper 9 zero-speed gyroscopic units, with QUICK hydraulic bow and stern thrusters and XENTA dynamic positioning supporting close-quarters handling.

She is United States-flagged, duty paid, and offered free and clear, lying at Sunset Harbour Yacht Club, Miami Beach.
